What is a LOLER?
A LOLER inspection is a detailed check of lifting equipment mandated by the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) in the UK. Its purpose is to ensure that the equipment is safe and compliant with regulations.

These inspections involve thorough checks of equipment such as cranes, hoists, and slings to verify that they are in proper working condition and suitable for their intended use. The goal of these inspections is to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace by ensuring that all lifting equipment meets the necessary safety requirements and regulations. Regular LOLER inspections help identify any potential issues before they become serious problems, promoting a safer working environment for all.
